I could remember when
Life seemed so great then
I was still in school
Summer, I hit the pool
Jump to now, what happened?
Where I've no time for friends?
Stuck in a dead-end job
What am I suppose to love?
I remember when I would bike
Pretendin' to sing in a mike
Christmas brought such joy for me
With presents under the tree
Now all I get is bills and bills with no end in sight
Is this me? This cant be right!
I got to go back to when

And cassettes were still played
When I was still in grade school

Hey all!
Well, after listening to BOWLING FOR SOUP's 1985, I decided to do my own take on their song. While they talk about a young woman who wishes for 1985 to return, my song deals with your's truly wanting to go back to 1995. I was 13 years old and from what I see, I should've stayed 13. *chuckles*
This took me a good night to write it up. I might make a single out of it and post it on here (if and when I can). I just wanted to see what everyone thought of it. Enjoy! And remember.... 19-19-1995!

I've thought about a 1995 parody myself, but replacing "way before Nirvana" with "way before Rihanna"... but that was all I got.
